Overview
This is the Ultimate Animal Experience — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet three incredible marine species in one action-packed visit to Blue Lagoon Island.
Your day begins with the Dolphin Encounter, where you’ll stand on a waist-deep platform for hands-on, guided interaction. Hug, dance, and connect with one of the ocean’s most intelligent and joyful creatures.
Next, head over to the Sea Lion Encounter, where you’ll meet our playful and expressive California sea lions on land and in shallow water. Learn how we care for them, how they communicate, and enjoy their goofy charm up close.
Finally, gear up for the Stingray Encounter, where you’ll observe and snorkel alongside gentle Southern stingrays in a natural habitat. Touch their silky fins, learn from marine specialists, and discover how these animals play an important role in our local ecosystem.
Between encounters, relax on our scenic beaches, explore the Bahamian Village, or enjoy a buffet lunch overlooking the lagoon.

What to Bring
- Swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes
- Reef-safe sunscreen and hat
- Water shoes (especially for Stingray Encounter)
- Reusable water bottle
Know Before You Go
- Program times and sequence are assigned the day of and confirmed at check-in
- Life vests are required for participants under 18 and during stingray snorkel
- All guests must complete a waiver prior to check-in
- Participants must be comfortable entering shallow water and stepping onto floating platforms
Photo & Video
- To ensure the safety of our animals and guests, personal cameras, cell phones, GoPros or other electronic devices cannot be brought onto the platform during the animal program.
Restrictions
- Dolphin Encounter: All ages welcome; children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Sea Lion Encounter: Ages 8+; participants under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult; minimum height 48"
- Stingray Encounter: Ages 10+; ages 10–12 must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Pregnant guests may not participate in Sea Lion Encounter
- Guests must be able to climb ladders to access floating platforms
- No drones, outside food/drinks, scuba gear, or metal detectors allowed
Cancellation Policy
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24-hours prior to the booked program. Groups may require a longer cancellation period depending on size.
- No refunds will be issued for guests who do not meet the program requirements for age, physical fitness, maternity reasons or who violate company policies.
- Blue Lagoon Island reserves the right, under certain circumstances, to omit specific behaviors or interactions from the animal programs.
